Zeta's Story

Sadly and suddenly in July 2004 we lost Zetta, aged nine, whilst still an active member of the team. She was a special dog who made it clear from the start that she did not want to share the arena and was soon given her solo spot. A set of twenty weave poles were introduced for her to display her unique talent for weaving. It was purely by accident her second act developed. Whilst standing in for another dog doing a routine retrieve she decided to take in some of the agility equipment at the same time, the audience loved it and from then on it became... "The Zetta Weave and Retrieve"

In later years she retired from the weave but continued to delight everyone with her love of retrieving her favourite squeaky toy together with  her enthusiasm for the agility. Anyone who had ever seen her would not forget the way she entered the arena like a prancing pony always eager to show off.

Zetta will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
