Janbry
Story
Janbry was a sable Shetland Sheepdog who holds
a very special place in the hearts of all who knew her but
especially with Display Team members. It was because of Janbry that
the Display team started raising money for CAMVET which to date has
exceeded £109,000.
In 1988 Janbry was diagnosed as having
cancer of the jaw and was referred to Cambridge Veterinary School
where she successfully underwent treatment.
She then continued to live a very happy and
fulfilling life, returning to take a full part in the Display Team.
Sadly she died in 1992, four years after her
treatment, but not because of cancer. The treatment and care
she received at Cambridge and her subsequent recovery show just how
much can now be done in the world of animal medicine
