The Solent District Dog Training
Club
was
formed in May 1987 and currently meets at
Titchfield and
Totton
on Wednesdays and Friday respectively. It is a thriving club with
approximately 100 handlers and dogs attending each week and all of
the trainers have attended courses run by the
British Institute
of Professional Dog Trainers.
Classes
are graded according to the ability of the dog and range from the
complete novice with a new puppy to handlers who have had dogs for
many years but who continue to believe that a good dog club is
invaluable training ground for all dogs, be they pedigree, non
pedigree or one of the many rescue dogs who are re-homed each year.
